A quick weekend jaunt to Scottsdale, AZ, brought many an opportunity for visiting family and sightseeing. The landscapes in this area of the country are certainly striking.

Off to the Botanical Gardens with a fantastic variety of cactus, many which were blooming.

Frank Lloyd Wright's home, lab, and now foundation headquarters., Taliesin West.

Pink Jeep Tour

Then a Pink Jeep Tour of the Sedona Hills. And yes, the jeeps are really pink! Who knew this area of the country was so stunning? Not me.

And the craziest thing of all, the Sedona "White Line." Mountain bikers ride the line. No safety lines, nothing. Watch a sample video from YouTube here. Insane.
